How did you meet Piper?
I met her at Opium Gardens, a trendy night club in Miami Fl
Who was Piper with?
A guy and a girl. Seemed like friends from high school.
What was Piper doing?
Piper was the host of the party. She was hanging out with her friends and
dancing. At Opium Gardens, they acknowledged her major role in Coyote
Ugly. The bartender asked her to get up on the bar to dance but Piper,
shyly declined.
Piper was there for a few hours.
Were there lots of people trying to talk to her?
Not really. Maybe a handful of guys and then there was me =)
I really wanted to say more to her but she was in a hurry. I cant complain
because 2 days before I met her, I received 2 autographs in the mail from
her.
How long did you get to speak to her?
It was kinda funny. I was at the bar and spotted Piper across from me, she
was hanging out with her friends. I didnt know how to get her attention
without causing a scene, so I just stared at her. I must have stared at her
for 2 minutes( hoping that it wouldnt scare her) and finally she saw me
looking at her. When I got eye contact, I smiled, and asked her if she would
take a picture with me. She couldn't really understand what I was saying
since I wasnt really speaking out loud, and she was basically trying to
lip read. She motioned by putting her hand to her ear to say that she
couldnt hear me or understand what I was saying. I knew I had to change
location so..
I waited for her at the exit of the VIP section. After 10 mins, I saw her
walking out, she was leaving.
Conversation:
Nicole: Piper
Piper: Yes
Nicole: Could you PUHLEEEZE take a picture with me?
Piper: um.. yes but lets do it quickly because we want to go home to sleep
We took 2 pictures and i turned and said to her
Nicole: I'm a big fan of Lost and Delirious
Piper: Thank you, thank you very much
How did it feel to meet Piper?
Honestly, as soon as I saw her, I felt that fan struck shocked feeling. I
wasnt sure if it was real or not. I had an adrenaline rush. I was in some
kind of amazement. It was a good feeling though. I was happy that she took
the time to take the pics even though she was on her way out. She seemed
very down to earth and modest. I've had a Piperiffic week =) I hope more of
her fans get the chance to meet her too.
