I met Piper and Jessica Paré today at Muchmusic. They were here for an interview to promote Lost & Delirious. They were supposed to come at 3:30, so i left my house really early. I think i got to Much around 2.. i was really early, and no one was there. I was the only one out there for most of the time. I was soo excited ever since i first heard she was going to be there. I think i found out a couple days before, and i couldn't do anything else, because i was really nervous and excited all at the same time. I couldn't believe that she was actually gonna be here! :) When i was at Much, I was asking people if i could get in, but no one knew anything. So I went in to ask the security guy if i could meet her, and he wouldn't let me. I said i had stuff to give her, but he was being really rude!! I didn't feel like starting any arguments, so i just went back outside.. I was really mad tho! Those security people there are always so difficult!! :/ Anyway.. I was just waiting around for a while and then it got closer to the time the interview was supposed to start, so i was just went to the window. Then they were both walked in and were getting ready. Some people ran up to the window to see what was going on. And when i first saw them in there, i didn't even know that was Piper! haha! I recognized Jessica first, and i was excited that they were there, but i didn't know who was with her. I thought Piper cancelled and Misha came instead. It's just that she looked different, so i didnt really notice her at first. But then i finally realized it was Piper, and i was sooo excited!! They were sitting kinda far away, so thats why i couldnt tell. And there were reflections in the window, so that didnt help either! ;) Piper went past the window twice and she was smiling really big both times. And she looked at me too, so that was cool! People kept asking who was in there, and i told them, but they had no idea who they were. Thats pretty sad.... And some people were just calling Piper the "coyote ugly girl" They didnt even know her name!! :/ And one girl was like 'Piper from Charmed?' uhh.. no! Anyway, i just watched the interview from the window, since they didn't let anyone inside. And when it was over, i went by the parking lot to wait for them to come out. I was waiting for soo long, and i didn't think i would get to meet her. I had stuff for her too, so if she didn't come out then that would have really sucked!! But they did eventually come out from the front of the building, and we all ran up to them. Everyone ran over to Piper and no one was really talking to Jessica, and i felt bad! I went over to Piper, and i think i started talking to her first, cuz i was calling her name like 5 or 6 times before she looked at me!! haha!! I just wanted to give her my present before she left. I gave her a bear, and some other stuff i made. And when i gave it to her, you should have seen her face... she was like "oh thank you", and she just had this look, like it was the nicest thing. It's hard to explain. And she just kept saying 'thank you' over and over.. about 5 times! haha!! :) She was eating a sucker too, and her mouth was all blue... that was funny!! :) (i think you can see that a bit in one of the pics) I took soo many pics of her too! I just kept clicking away! :) Well, i'm sure i'll never meet her again, so i wanted to take as many as i could! And she was soo tiny too!! She looks different on tv and in the movies, but when i saw her she was really small! :) I think she was my height, but she was wearing heels, so i think she's about 5'4 or 5'5. Her hair was blond, and it was shorter. It looked really cool!! :) After i gave her the present and she said thanks and all, she kept looking at me. Everytime she finished taking a pic with someone, she would look over at me. I dont know what that was about! haha!! Maybe i was taking too many pics (cuz i was going crazy with that!), or else she was really happy with the presents. I'm not complaining, it was cool!! But it was kinda freaky too! I didn't know if she was gonna say something to me about taking all those pics or what! haha!! ;) I didn't get her autograph tho, cuz i was too busy taking pics. But i wanted them both to sign a pic from my L&D presskit. I should have just asked anyway... I gave Jessica a bear too, and she gave me an Ed the Sock hat (that was one of the things she got as a present from Much). She said "it's like a little exchange". She was really nice too!! :) I didn't take any pics of her, cuz i used them all up on Piper. The lady that was with Jessica was really excited about my present too! She was like 'wow! thats soo nice of you!!' I just stood near them for a bit after that, but didn't say anything to Jessica (dumb!). Everyone was just standing around, i don't think they knew what they wanted to do! haha! I walked back over to Piper after this. Then a couple minutes later Piper and her manager (i think) walked down the sidewalk and we all started to follow her. Well, i was the first one, and everyone else stayed, then eventually came too. Piper and the guy walked over to Jessica, and they were trying to decide what to do. They were pointing to a restaurant across the street.. but eventually they just got into a cab and left. It was cool to see that because all the celebs usually go in limos or get picked up in some kind of car. And the people walking by and the ones in the cars didn't even notice them. I thought that was pretty funny! :) So this was probably one of the BEST days of my life.. and my birthday was coming up in a couple days too (on the 13th), so this was the greatest present! :) I wish i could have talked to her tho, but just seeing her was really awesome!! I couldn't actually believe that she was right in front of me! It was the weirdest thing! :) And she was the nicest person i have ever met! She was out there for a while taking pics with all these people, even tho she was supposed to go. That was really awesome! There should be more people like her! ;) -- Aurelia |
